Experience

I have tutored mainly my friends for small and quick private sessions before exams at the university level. My main approach to tutoring is that I take a slow and steady approach focusing and checking the understanding of various key concepts before moving onto deep ones. However, I can always tailor my approach to match my students’ abilities (ranging from those who find the subject extremely difficult and those who are innately gifted). I am patient and a good communicator, and also confident that I can help students through various assessments. I am also comfortable in preparing and revising the necessary material in advance before each lesson and can cover either material provided by the student or my resources. Lastly, I am also happy to discuss the students’ current progress with their parents/guardians and adjust the lesson plan to accommodate any supplementary requests.
