Education
I have an MA in Digital Media Art 2014, University of Brighton. During this degree I learned many technology aspects including Html, Java and CSS. I also produced interactive art installations and wrote a 12,000 word dissertation as part of my final thesis. I am currently studying for a PhD at the Auckland University of Technology in Virtual Reality and Immersive Technology. I am working with products like UNITY and also using the HTC Vive.
Experience
From 2008 to 2012 I was a secondary school teacher in ICT from GCSE to A Level in the UK. I have also been tutoring in a variety of subjects since this time which includes, ICT, Computer, Computer Science, Economics, Business Studies and some of the sciences. I have also taught Photography at GCSE Level. I have 30 years experience in IT from programming to project management mainly in the City of London. I also have a lot of experience in the Arts field having been a producer of theatre and also Technical manager of many theatrical productions. I enjoy helping others succeed in their educational aspirations and helping them resolve difficulties in studying their subject, something that I am particularly good at. I am a professional writer of fiction and articles, as well as having written many technical documents and project documents. I understand writing for all kinds of audiences. I can also help with academic writing, editing and proof reading. I am also skilled in Photoshop and Premiere, as well as some After Effects. I can assist with video editing and other aspects of digital media production.
